How to use:

To start, press the ON/OFF key. A beep will sound.
A short beep confirms the start-up. The thermometer first performs a self-test for approx. 2 seconds.
In this case, all display segments are visible. Then the last measured value is displayed.

The setpoint value of 37 °C (98.6 °F) then appears. The measurement symbol “°C” (“°F”) then flashes and “Lo °C” (“Lo °F”) appears on the display.
The thermometer is ready for measurement. During measurement, the current temperature is displayed in current mode and the “°C” (“°F”) sign flashes.
The measurement is completed when a stable temperature is reached. The measurement takes approx. 10 seconds. A beep sounds (10 long beeps), the “°C” (“°F”) sign stops flashing and the measured temperature value is displayed. For complete usage and instructions, please refer to the user manual.

Precautions and contraindications:

• Keep the packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation.

• Before each use, check the thermometer for signs of damage or wear. Damaged or worn thermometers must not be used.
• The tip must not be bent more than 90°!
• The thermometer should be used exclusively for measuring human body temperature.
• The thermometer is designed only for the measurement sites on the human body indicated in the instructions for use.
• The minimum measurement time until the acoustic signal must be observed without exception.
• This thermometer is equipped with a flexible measuring tip and thus ensures more comfort and safety when measuring, especially in small children, people who are sleeping or who have lost consciousness.
• When switched on, the thermometer performs a self-test. A check of the measurement accuracy is not necessary.
