Calperos 1000 contains calcium in the form of carbonate, which participates in the bone mineralization process. It also participates in nerve conduction and muscle contraction (including cardiac muscle contraction). It participates in the coagulation process and reduces the permeability of vascular walls (exhibiting anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, and anti-allergic effects).
Indications
- states of increased demand for calcium: periods of intensive growth in children and adolescents and during pregnancy and lactation;
- improper nutrition with products low in calcium;
- impaired reabsorption of calcium from the renal tubules;
- reduced blood calcium levels with increased phosphorus levels in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing dialysis and prevention of increased neuromuscular excitability;
- prophylactically in the prevention and complementary treatment of osteoporosis;
- conditions after long-term immobilization and the period of recovery after bone fractures;
- supportive in the treatment of colds and allergic diseases.
