Description
The additional Nasal Rinse and SEMA Protect Set is a medical device intended for adults and children over 4 years of age. It unblocks and clears the nose and sinuses of excess secretion and residual mucus , thus preventing infections.
When to Use Nasal and Sinus Irrigation with the SEMA Protect Kit?
Irrigation can be used both prophylactically and in the symptomatic treatment of the nose and sinuses , mainly in the case of:
- inflammation of the nasal mucosa and sinuses,
- rhinitis of various causes;
- in nose and sinus hygiene.
The SEMA Protect kit contains sachets of soluble sodium chloride, which are used to prepare an isotonic or hypertonic solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.
- Hypertonic sodium chloride solution is recommended for use in nasal swelling associated with rhinitis during infection or allergy, as well as during sinusitis.
- Isotonic sodium chloride solution is intended to maintain adequate nasal hygiene and in case of inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, rhinitis, before and after surgical procedures, as well as after exposure to high concentrations of dust in the air.
In the SEMA Protect refill pack you will find 30 sachets of powder for preparing a solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.
