Seboderm Med 20 mg/ml x 120 ml, Slavia Pharm
Seboderm Med 20 mg/ml shampoo is indicated in the treatment and prophylaxis of infections with dermatophytes of the Malassezia (Pityrosporum) type, such as seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis capitis (dandruff).
Seboderm Med 20 mg/ml shampoo is indicated in the treatment and prophylaxis of skin candidiasis, such as pityriasis (tinea) versicolor.
How to use:
Seboderm Med 20 mg/ml shampoo is intended for local administration on the scalp and/or skin. The shampoo is applied to the affected areas, moistened beforehand, by gentle massage until a consistent foam is obtained. For proper effectiveness, Seboderm Med 20 mg/ml shampoo must be left to act for at least 3-5 minutes, after which it is removed by thorough washing. Avoid contact with eyes.
Treatment :
Seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff (pityriasis capitis): twice a week, for 2-4 weeks.
Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor: once a day for five (5) days.
Prophylaxis:
Seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff: once a week or once every two (2) weeks.
Pityriasis (ringworm) versicolor: once a day, for three (3) days, before the hot season.
Special populations Pediatric population
The efficacy and safety of administration of ketoconazole shampoo in children under 12 years of age have not been established.
