The causes of vitamin D deficiency are:
- insufficient skin production - in the cold season, through lack of exposure to the sun and use of clothes that cover the whole body, of sun protection creams; the formation of vitamin D in the skin is difficult in people with dark skin and in the elderly;
- low food intake or gastrointestinal malabsorption (including after bariatric surgery);
- liver or kidney diseases (which inhibit the activation of vitamin D);
- the use of drugs (antiepileptics, corticosteroids, antifungals, drugs for HIV-positive patients);
- obesity.
Sanience D3 Spray 4000 IU contains Vitamin D3 extracted from a natural source (lanolin) with a high concentration and instant absorption, over 95% in the form of an oral spray.

Thanks to the microemulsion-based spray, Vitamin D3 in liquid form, sprayed under the tongue or on the inside of the cheek, guarantees its rapid absorption in the body through the membranes of the oral mucosa, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract. The tiny droplets are quickly absorbed in the mouth, providing superior absorption to conditioned nutrients in other pharmaceutical forms.

Recommendations:
Sanience D3 Spray 4000 UI is recommended:
- throughout the year, if adequate exposure to the sun was not ensured during the summer, allowing synthesis in the skin;
- throughout the year, for the elderly (over 65 years old), because the effectiveness of the synthesis of vitamin D in the skin is reduced in the case of seniors;
- to people with vitamin D3 deficiency.
