• It is used in cosmetic preparations for skin and hair revitalization, in skin applications where a purifying action is needed, especially for oily skin, problematic scalp, hair loss or dandruff. It is used in aromatherapy in case of colds and respiratory problems.
• The cineole chemotype rosemary essential oil is obtained by distilling the branches of a species of rosemary that grows in North Africa, which differs in the profile of active compounds from the other chemotypes - camphorated rosemary and verbenone rosemary - each having specific applications and properties.
• It is appreciated for its beneficial action on the skin and scalp, at the same time it is also successfully used in aromatherapy against ENT diseases, but also in perfumery for its fresh, aromatic smell.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation of young, fresh branches.

Characteristics:
Clear liquid of yellowish color, low viscosity.

Olfactory description:
Strong smell, fresh, aromatic and slightly camphorated, with woody notes.

Properties:

- revitalizing for the skin and scalp;
– antiseptic, potent bactericidal, fungicidal;
– expectorant, mucolytic;
– circulatory system tonic;
- nervous system tonic.

- it is a suitable product for any type of skin, especially for oily, acneic, seborrheic skin;

Way of ussage:

- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations and compositions for aromatherapy;
- usual dosage recommended in cosmetic compositions 0.5-2%;
- as an ingredient in creams, lotions, toners, serums and face masks;
- as an ingredient in balms, creams and specific ointments for toning and revitalization, relieving muscle and joint pain;
- as an ingredient in deodorants, foot cream;
- included in hygiene preparations: shampoos, cleansers, shower gels;
- 1-2 drops in the daily dose of shampoo;
- as an ingredient in hair serums, scalp rubs;
- in candles or vaporizers to create a favorable atmosphere for people affected by overwork, asthenia;
- diluted in vegetable oil, applied by massage on the chest in case of colds, respiratory problems;
– 2-3 drops in warm water for inhalations in case of colds, ENT diseases;
- together with other essences with top, middle and base notes, to create liquid or solid perfumes.
