Description
Drops that hydrate strongly and support the regeneration of the protective barrier of the eye's surface when it is dry. alleviating the symptoms of moderate and severe dry eye syndrome. Acceleration of the regeneration of the surface structures of the eye after surgery.
What are drops?
A unique combination of three active substances contained in the drops: sodium hyaluronate and trehalose
and D-panthenol hydrates and effectively supports the regeneration of the protective barrier of the eye surface. After instillation, the product provides a long-lasting feeling of comfort.
What are the drops used for?
The drops are intended for intensive hydration and support the regeneration of the protective barrier of the eye surface when it is dry. relieves the symptoms of moderate and severe dry eye syndrome
It accelerates the regeneration of the surface structures of the eye after surgery.
When should you use the drops?
The drops should be used in cases of discomfort accompanied by symptoms such as dry eyes, burning or tired eyes, which may be caused by:
dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms, working at a monitor, watching TV for a long time or cigarette smoke;
mechanical irritation of the eye surface, for example, as a result of wearing contact lenses;
surgical procedures (including laser), which disrupt the secretion processes and the correct distribution of the eye film on the surface of the eye.
How do the active ingredients of the drops work?
Sodium hyaluronate - a natural polysaccharide in the human body, including the vitreous humor of the eye, is widely known as a powerful moisturizing substance. The mucoadhesive properties of hyaluronic acid ensure better adhesion of the preparation to the surface of the eye, which results in faster healing of the corneal epithelium, while, thanks to its viscoelastic (viscoelastic) properties, it increases the stability of the tear film, which is washed much slower when flashing.
Trehalose - is a non-reducing disaccharide composed of glucose units, naturally present in many living organisms such as plants, insects, fungi and bacteria. It has been identified as a key component determining survival under stress conditions associated with anhydrobiosis (almost complete dehydration). Due to its strong protective properties, trehalose is used in ophthalmic preparations as a substance that prevents stress related to the dehydration of the ocular surface resulting from, among others: dry eye syndrome.
D-panthenol - is an alcoholic analogue of pantothenic acid, also called pantothenate or vitamin B5, which is a water-soluble vitamin. Due to its hygroscopic properties and the ability to retain moisture, the local use of D-panthenol can improve hydration, the effect of which is related to the ability to regenerate the protective barrier.
Who are the drops for?
Eye drops are for adults.
How often can the drops be used?
If necessary, instill a drop into the conjunctival sac. Because the drops do not contain
preservatives, can be used every day, including by users of all types of contact lenses. It is usually instilled 3-4 times a day, one drop in the conjunctival sac of each eye. In case of severe symptoms, you can use the drops more often.
How are the drops used?
