Description
Polocard is a drug in the form of enteric-coated tablets, used in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, including heart attack and ischemic heart disease. It is intended for adults and adolescents over the age of 16.
How does Polocard work?
The active substance of the drug is acetylsalicylic acid. Acetylsalicylic acid administered in small doses inhibits aggregation (clumping) of platelets. Because of this, it plays an important role in preventing the formation of blood clots.
The package contains 120 Polocard 75 mg tablets.
