Panadol Ultra Rapide effervescent tablets, moderate to severe pain 12 effervescent tablets

Panadol Ultra Rapide is an analgesic, antipyretic intended for moderate to severe pain. It contains a combination of three drugs.

• Paracetamol works against pain and reduces fever
• Caffeine increases its effect, and codeine reduces the perception of pain and the reaction to it. Thus, the drug relieves severe pain and reduces fever
• Codeine reduces the perception of pain and the reaction to it; belongs to a group of medicines called opioid analgesics that relieve pain

Use

It is used for pain of various origins, e.g. pain of rheumatic origin, back pain and lumbago, headache including migraines, pain during menstruation, pain accompanying bone and joint injuries, toothache, neuralgia, pain from inflammation of the sinuses, pain in the throat or during flu and colds accompanied mainly by a dry cough.

The drug is suitable for adults, adolescents and children from 14 years of age.

Dosage

Adults take 1-2 tablets as needed up to 4 times a day, with an interval of at least 4 hours. A maximum of 8 tablets can be taken in 24 hours (ie 4g of paracetamol).

Children from 14 years: 1 tablet up to 3 times a day with a time interval of at least 6 hours. A maximum of 3 tablets can be taken in 24 hours. The medicine is not suitable for children under 13 years of age. The tablet dissolves in a glass full of water (it is taken just before ingestion).

• If the pain returns with the same intensity after the effect wears off, or if the maximum single dose is not enough to suppress the pain, you should consult a doctor. Drink enough fluids. Not all drugs (including non-prescription drugs) can be combined, it is necessary to consult them. Do not drink alcohol.
