Paduden Rapid 200 mg, 10 tablets, Terapia
This medicine contains ibuprofen lysinate, which is the lysinate salt of ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which relieve pain and lower the temperature when you have a fever.
PADUDEN Rapid 200 mg film-coated tablets is used for symptomatic treatment in case of:
- mild to moderate pain, for example headache, menstrual pain and toothache
- fever and pain associated with the common cold.
Composition:
- The active substance is ibuprofen lysinate
- Each film-coated tablet contains 342 mg ibuprofen lysine, equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen
- The other ingredients are: Tablet core: silicified microcrystalline cellulose, copovidone, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc
- Tablet film: hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polydextrose, talc, maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides, cochineal red (E 124), twilight yellow (E 110), indigotine (E 132), carmellose sodium, glucose monohydrate, pearl based pigment mica (mica/titanium dioxide), soy lecithin.
How to use:
- 1-2 tablets, 3 times a day, without exceeding the maximum dose of 1200 mg ibuprofen lysinate per day
- Swallow the tablets with a glass of water.
Contraindications:
Do not take PADUDEN Rapid 200 mg film-coated tablets:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other components of this medicine
- if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy
- if you are a teenager and your body weight is under 40 kg or you are under 12 years old.
Precautions:
Before taking PADUDEN Rapid 200 mg film-coated tablets, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine
- Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid using this medicine during the first 6 months of pregnancy, unless your doctor recommends otherwise
- Ibuprofen and its decomposition products pass into breast milk only in small amounts
- This medicine can be taken during breastfeeding, provided that it is used at the recommended dose and for the shortest possible time
- PADUDEN Rapid 200 mg film-coated tablets belongs to a group of drugs that can affect fertility in women. This effect is reversible upon discontinuation of treatment. It is unlikely that PADUDEN Rapid 200 mg film-coated tablets, used occasionally, will affect your chances of becoming pregnant; however, tell your doctor before taking this medicine if you have trouble getting pregnant.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
- When used for short periods and at the recommended dose, this medicine has little or no influence on the ability to drive and use machines
- If side effects such as fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness and visual disturbances occur, do not drive or operate machinery.
