Description
Oxalin® Junior is a medicine in the form of a nasal gel. The active substance of the preparation is oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which belongs to the group of drugs called sympathomimetics. When applied topically to the nasal mucosa, it narrows blood vessels, reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa and inhibits excessive mucus secretion, which facilitates free breathing through the nose. This allows you to unblock the nasal passages and facilitate the drainage of secretions from the paranasal sinuses.
The use of Oxalin Junior 0.05% nasal gel is indicated in:
- in acute rhinitis,
- in vasomotor rhinitis,
- in allergic rhinitis,
- in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses,
- in inflammation of the Eustachian tube,
- in otitis media.
Oxalin® Junior nasal gel for the symptomatic treatment of nasal secretion can be used in children from 6 years and adults. The gel formula additionally hydrates the nasal mucosa and prevents it from flowing into the bottom of the nasal cavity and into the throat.
