A healthy treat for all dogs. Easy to digest without lactose. Himalayan cheeses are made from the milk of Himalayan cows and undergo long and careful processing. The milk is first boiled for an hour to remove all the fat and pasteurized. Then add a little salt and lemon juice (only 0.01% in total) to thicken it. The next step is pressing for 2-3 days to remove the moisture from the cheese. These blocks of cheese are cut into reasonably sized pieces and dried in a smoker for up to 20-30 days to harden and acquire a mild, smoky flavor.
