OMK2 ophthalmic solution, 10 ml, Omikron
CE Class IIA medical device with Citicoline + vitamin B12 in ophthalmic solution.
OMK2 is adjuvant in early diabetic retinopathy.
Diabetic retinopathy is a frequently encountered complication in patients with diabetes. Diabetes affects both the vessels and the nerve cells in the retina.
Indications:
- patients with early diabetic retinopathy
- corneal re-epithelialization after surgery, LASER or small abrasions of the corneal surface
- feelings of irritation
- burn or foreign body.
Benefits:
- Due to the presence of Citicoline, OMK2 provides a useful and beneficial structural support for restoring the membrane integrity of neurons damaged by degenerative eye diseases
- Vitamin B12 favors the growth of corneal epithelial cells and also protects cells against free radicals
- Moreover, solutions containing hyaluronic acid are able to create a favorable microenvironment for the healing processes of the ocular surface in case of corneal or conjunctival epithelium injuries. In fact, the hyaluronic acid that is obtained through biotechnological synthesis gives rise to a mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic solution, capable of improving the stability of the tear film and in this way OMK2 keeps the surface of the eye lubricated, hydrated and protected.
Composition:
2% Citicoline + 0.05% vitamin B12 + 0.2% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid.
How to use:
1 drop X 3 times/day, 10 ml bottle, 30 days of treatment.
