The active substance contained in the patches is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Diclofenac works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which reduces the production of prostaglandins, substances responsible for pain, inflammation and swelling.
The package contains 5 pieces of Olfen ® patches with dimensions of 10 cm x 14 cm - each medicated patch contains 140 mg diclofenac sodium.
