NFO Omega-3 Forte is a food supplement in the form of soft, odorless and tasteless capsules , suitable for use as a supplement to the daily diet of adults. The formula with a high concentration of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids ( PUFA) is based on carefully selected, high-quality, clean, cold-pressed and molecularly distilled oil obtained from freshly caught wild fish (ie sturgeon, herring, smelt, mackerel and sand lobster), found in the deep, cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Know the Norwegian quality of omega-3 from NFO

Norwegian Fish Oil (NFO) uses fish oil with an extremely low level of oxidation (Totox) to produce omega-3, which is confirmed by laboratory test results. Totox ( Total Oxidation Index ) is an indicator of the quality of fish oil by determining its total degree of oxidation. NFO production plants are located near the fishing grounds, so the finished oil can be obtained within hours of the catch. The short time from catching the fish to the start of production minimizes the oxidation process, which allows for a low Totox index. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) are essential fatty acids. This is a group of fatty acids that the human body cannot synthesize on its own and must therefore be supplied as part of a properly balanced diet. Highly valuable sources of omega-3 fatty acids are fatty sea fish, as well as fish oils and fish liver oils.
