Description
Neoprobio Protect is a medical device in the form of vaginal globules indicated for use in diseases characterized by disturbances of the pH of the lower genital tract in cases of non-specific vaginitis. It helps maintain the correct pH level of the vagina, and its functioning is responsible for:
- lactic acid – helps maintain the normal vaginal bacterial flora, optimizes the pH changed as a result of diseases, antibiotic therapy or poor hygiene.
- hyaluronic acid - improves vaginal hydration and supports the maintenance of the natural environment of the reproductive tract.
What is normal vaginal pH?
Vaginal pH changes over the years, but should be between 3.6 and 4.5. Lactic acid bacteria are responsible for maintaining its proper level, and maintaining it helps prevent the development of bacterial or fungal infections. It may happen that hygiene itself is not enough and support is needed, for example in the form of Neoprobio Protect globules, which can be used prophylactically or as recommended by the doctor.
Neoprobio Protect pads can be used in case of discomfort caused by redness, itching or burning in intimate areas. They also support regeneration after gynecological procedures, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
