Description
The ointment is used to treat skin affected by eczema, rashes, acne, inflammation of the skin or rashes caused by sun allergy.
Time-proven ointment
Ichthamol ointment saw the light of day in the late 1960s and has since been shown to help with chronic pimples, diaper rash, intertrigo scratching, skin inflammations and infections, and rosacea or rashes caused by sun allergies.
Active substances
NeoPhytiol is a healing ointment based on ichtamol, zinc oxide and allantoin. The much-discussed boric acid has been replaced by more effective lichen and licorice acids. Although ichthymol makes the ointment smell a little, its effects are unique, so it is not surprising that until recently it was part of home medicine cabinets as a cheap but effective first aid for skin problems.
