Traditional matcha - check out why it's unique
- Obtained exclusively from the first and second harvest of fresh leaves of the shrub.
- Grown in the Uji region of Kyoto Prefecture, which is famous for its fertile soil and clear waters.
- It has an intense green color due to baking under special coatings.
- Most often chosen by people who are just starting their adventure with this tea.
The bushes from which Moya Matcha comes are carefully cultivated in small, family-owned tea fields without pesticides. The entire process of producing matcha in Uji is extremely time-consuming and each batch of leaves is carefully checked. Immediately after collection, the leaves are lightly steamed, dried and ground into a fine powder.
Moya Matcha Traditional is an organic tea with exceptional taste and high quality, whose production process is based on traditional methods. By choosing Moya Matcha, you reach the authentic essence of Japanese tea culture.

What makes Chasen Moya dust unique?
- The broom, also called a brush, is handmade from a piece of lightweight bamboo.
- The precise cuts create flexible tendrils that are slightly bent at the bottom and gathered at the top and finished with a special wooden handle.
- It allows the perfect foaming of the tea thanks to the large number of flexible bamboo whiskers.
- Works best with a matcha brew and drink cup.
The Moya Chasen is an essential tool for matcha lovers that combines tradition with functionality, ensuring perfect tea frothing.

- Dip the chasen brush in hot water for a few seconds to soften your whiskers.
- Gently mix the matcha and water by whisking along the bottom of the bowl.
- Bring it close to the surface and make quick W or M movements for 10-20 seconds, working with your wrist.
