The bottle is part of the breastfeeding range designed by Lansinoh specialists as a support for nursing mothers who for some reason cannot be near the baby for a certain period of time. Thus, the breastfeeding process is not interrupted and the babies benefit from the properties of mother's milk for as long as possible.
Based on more than 50 years of breastfeeding research, Lansinoh's new teat concept, which allows baby to engage in natural peristaltic sucking action, allows for an easy transition from breastfeeding to bottle feeding and vice versa is coming to revolutionize the baby food market. Research has shown that a baby's sucking style involves 3 stages:
1. Attachment of the child – his lips are facing outwards, the child covering both the nipple and part of the areola.
2. The peristaltic movement of the tongue - the tongue makes wave-like movements compressing the breast and extracting the milk, contributing to good oral-facial development of the child. The baby repeats the peristaltic movement of the tongue approximately 800-1000 times during a nursing session.
3. Swallowing milk
The teat is made of soft silicone with two different textures. The tip of the teat is made of soft and fine silicone that allows the baby to regulate the flow of milk, it stretches and flexes for optimal compression and the vertical silicone lines inside the teat strengthen its structure, eliminating the risk of flattening the teat during the feeding process. The wide, textured teat base is specially designed for baby's lips to easily grip the teat. The gradual design of the teat allows good peristaltic movement of the tongue.
