Description
Metafen ® Gel Forte is a medicine with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects for local use. The active substance of the drug is ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Metafen ® Gel Forte 10% – for muscle, joint and back pain
Each 1 gram of Metafen® Forte gel contains 100 mg of ibuprofen. Thanks to this, it relieves inflammation, which is the direct cause of pain. When applied to the skin, the therapeutic concentration of ibuprofen occurs only locally. The absorption and distribution of ibuprofen depends on the thickness of the skin, the subcutaneous tissue, its blood supply and the extent of inflammatory infiltrates.
Indications for the use of Metafen® Gel Forte 10% are conditions that require local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects :
- pain associated with diseases of the musculoskeletal system,
- back pain,
- neuralgia,
- post-traumatic pain,
- pain in mild forms of arthritis.
Metafen ® Forte gel 100 mg/g is well absorbed through the skin. The tube contains 100 g of gel for local use in the symptomatic treatment of muscle and joint pain and inflammation in these areas. It is suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age.
