Magnefar B6 Forte is a drug in the form of film-coated tablets that is used in adults and children over 6 years of age. This medicine is indicated for use in the treatment and prevention of magnesium deficiency . Magnesium supplementation can alleviate symptoms of magnesium deficiency, such as:
- nervousness, irritability, mood swings,
- mild anxiety, restlessness, anxiety symptoms such as gastrointestinal cramps or palpitations (no heart problems)
- temporary feeling of tiredness, lethargy, mild sleep disturbances,
- muscle spasms, tingling, twitching of the eyelids.
How does Magnefar B6 Forte work?
The active substances of the drug are magnesium ions and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6). Magnesium is necessary for the proper functioning of many biochemical processes in the body. It plays an important role in the contraction process of the heart muscle and influences the state of neuromuscular excitability. Magnesium absorption occurs only partially from the gastrointestinal tract, mainly in the small intestine, and the degree of absorption depends on the content in food.
