Additional Information:
A supplement that has already had some moments of glory and some painful failures. Various mechanisms of action have been observed, the most likely of which is an increase in muscle carnitine concentration, which would lead to the maximization of the transport of long-chain fatty acids across the inner mitochondrial membrane, enhancing beta-oxidation and, as a result, accelerating adipose tissue reduction rate. As a result, unfortunately, it turned out that this mechanism does not work in people who eat meat (the main source of carnitine in food). Even studies involving 6 g/day for 2 weeks have failed. However, there is some hope - long-term intake of L-Ca (24 weeks) at a dose of 2 g and carbohydrates (80 g) resulted in lower glycogen consumption and pyruvate dehydrogenase activity during exercise of low intensity (50% VO2max), which could lead to intensive consumption of fat resources during exercise. Unfortunately, this effect was no longer observed during exercise at the level of 80% VO2max. L-carnitine is a natural amino acid. We can find it in animal tissue (meat and dairy products). This amino acid is involved in energy metabolism and mitochondrial protection. It is a substance that is created spontaneously in the human body, but can be supplied from food. Please note that L-carnitine does not burn adipose tissue when there is a deficiency in the body. L-carnitine is a compound that has a positive effect on the body's aging processes. This substance also increases the potential of mitochondria to burn fat. It is responsible for transporting fatty acids and converting them into energy. L-carnitine is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and branched amino acids. This substance plays a very important role in the weight loss process. Moreover, it optimizes all the processes that take place in the muscles and reduces the time required for the body's regeneration after physical exercise. For whom? Recommended especially for people who want to lose weight and practice all sports in a recreational and competitive way
A food supplement (food) cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
The purpose of a dietary supplement is to supplement the normal diet. The dietary supplement has no medicinal properties.
