Chamomile tea, 50 g, Dorel Plant

Chamomile is part of the Asteraceae family, being one of the most important medicinal plants that grows in our country. Widespread in Europe and Asia, it grows on roadsides, in grain fields, meadows and uncultivated places.

Method of preparation:

Infusion: prepare from a spoonful of the plant added to 250 ml of boiling water, keep for 15 min. at room temperature, then strain and drink on an empty stomach. Administer 3 cups of infusion per day, with 30 min. before meals.

External:

• to eliminate the discomfort in the oral cavity and pharynx, mouth rinses or gargles with the maceration or infusion of the plant
• to eliminate the discomfort that occurs at the level of the eyes, it is applied to the eyelids compressed with the maceration or the infusion of the plant
• to eliminate the discomfort that occurs at the level of hemorrhoidal veins and the anal mucosa, it is applied in the form of local washes or sitz baths 3-4 times a day with the infusion or maceration of the plant
• to eliminate the discomfort that occurs at the level of the vaginal mucosa, local washes are made with the maceration or the infusion of the plant
• to promote skin regeneration, local washes or bleaching are done with the maceration or infusion of the plant

Side effects:

It can cause photosensitisation and contact dermatitis.

Chamomile allergy.
