isla® junior lozenges – Child-friendly therapy for throat problems
For little ones with sore throats: Soft lozenges with Icelandic moss. isla® junior throat lozenges contain an extract of Icelandic moss. This consists of 80% mucilage, which, together with saliva, forms a protective film that soothes the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, moisturizing and protecting them from further irritation. This promotes mucous membrane regeneration and effectively relieves coughs. The lozenges also contain vitamin C, zinc, and calcium pantothenate.
The advantage
Because it's a soft lozenge, it's not easily chewed. This increases the time it stays in the mouth, and also means that—should it be bitten—it won't produce sharp fragments like a traditional hard candy. Furthermore, the ingredients reach the back of the throat while sucking. Good to know for parents: the lozenges are vegan, sugar-free, and tooth-friendly. They also contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives and are very well tolerated.
