Properties:
The WUNDmed herpes patch serves as an invisible covering for oral herpes. The patches have a layer of hydrocolloid gel, which absorbs wound secretions while protecting the injured skin. Herpes patches are transparent and can be covered with makeup.

Soothes tingling, itching and pain. Store in a dry environment, away from sunlight, at temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius.

Medical device

Way of ussage:
1. Wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well, because oils and moisture will affect the adhesion of the patch.
2. If the blister is broken, apply a mild disinfectant.
3. Remove the large tab of the release liner. Place the patch centrally on the affected area.
4. Remove the small tab of the release liner. Press the patch onto the surrounding skin.
5. Do not pull the patch until it starts to come off on its own.
6. Repeat the application until the healing process is complete.

Remove the patch:
1. Carefully lift the edges of the patch while pressing on the skin.
2. Continue lifting the edges until they come away from the surface of the skin.
3. Press on the skin to separate the patch from the skin.
4. Alternative: Laying horizontally and lifting the patch facilitates removal in most cases.
5. Dispose of the patch properly.

How often the patch should be changed:
1. The patch should remain attached to the wound as long as possible.
2. If moisture leaks, it must be changed immediately.
3. The patch should be changed when maximum absorption has been reached. Keep in a cool and dry place

Contraindications:
Do not use in patients with known sensitivity to the product or any of its ingredients, especially polyisobutenes and carboxymethylcellulose.

Precautions:
1. Do not use on infected wounds.
2. If you are diabetic or have circulatory problems, consult your doctor before using this product.
3. If the desired healing is not achieved or the surrounding skin becomes red and swollen, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
4. Use the patch only once. Reuse may cause cross-infection and may reduce the effectiveness of the product.
5. Do not use with creams as this may cause the patch to not adhere to the wound and affect the success of the treatment.
6. Apply herpes patch before applying makeup.
7. Do not use the product if the package is opened/damaged.
8. Do not use on bleeding wounds/third degree burns.
