Description
Helicid Control is used in adults for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux , for example heartburn and acid regurgitation into the oesophagus. Reflux is the reflux of stomach acid into the esophagus, which can lead to inflammation and pain. This can cause symptoms such as a burning pain in the chest that goes up to the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth. Helicid Control contains an active substance called omeprazole . It belongs to a group of medicines called 'proton pump inhibitors'. These drugs reduce the amount of hydrochloric acid secreted in the stomach.
