Licorice body balm

Recommended for: care of all skin types.

Active ingredients: licorice extract, melilot, lecithin, vitamin E, panthenol.

Action: hydrates, regenerates, smoothes, alleviates the symptoms of excessive sun exposure.

How to use: apply a small amount of balm on clean and dry skin, then massage with circular movements.

Active ingredients under the microscope:

- licorice extract has strong water-binding properties in the skin. It has a moisturizing, soothing, antioxidant and anti-swelling effect.

- the melilot extract has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, soothing and vascular strengthening properties. The active substances found in the melilot plant are primarily flavonoids, coumarins and tannins.

- lecithin - a natural emulsifier and emulsion stabilizer obtained from vegetable oils (soybean, rapeseed, sunflower) by refining with hexane or egg yolks. A brown substance with viscous consistency and high hygroscopicity. It allows the connection of the water phase with the oil phases and prevents their separation. In addition, it improves the hydration level of the skin and protects it against water loss.

- vitamin E is used in cosmetics to care for mature, tired and dry skin. It provides natural protection against free radicals, neutralizing their destructive effect on healthy cells.

- panthenol - i.e. provitamin B5, is a moisturizing substance that penetrates the stratum corneum; penetration promoter for other nutrients.
