Foresto can be used as part of therapy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). The drug has a persistent acaricidal (killing) effect on ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus turanicus ) and a repellent effect (prevents sucking) on ticks (Ixodes ricinus) for 8 months. It is effective against larvae, nymphs and adult ticks.

Ticks present on the cat prior to application cannot be killed within 48 hours of collar application and may remain attached and visible. Therefore, when putting on the collar, it is recommended to remove the ticks already present on the cat. The collar will begin to protect against new ticks within two days of wearing. If possible, the collar should be applied before the tick or flea season begins.

Dogs :

The drug provides indirect protection against the transmission of pathogens Babesia canis vogeli and Ehrlichia canis, transmitted by Rhipicephalus sanguineus ticks, thus reducing the risk of babesiosis and ehrlichiosis in dogs for 7 months. Mode of use

Remove the collar from the protective bag before use. Undo the collar and remove any remaining plastic connector. Place the collar on the animal's neck, do not tighten it too much (there should be space for 2 fingers between the collar and the neck). Pass the end of the collar through the loops and cut the excess part to a length of 2 cm.
