Folate 5-MTHF Methyl 600 µg is a product that contains active folic acid in the form of calcium L-methylfolate. Calcium L-methylfolate is an active, crystalline and methylated form of folic acid, which is available to the body immediately after consumption, without the need for further metabolic transformations. Unlike regular folic acid intake, calcium L-methylfolate intake has greater bioavailability and does not mask vitamin B12 deficiencies. Inulin from chicory contributes to the proper functioning of the intestines by increasing the frequency of bowel movements. The beneficial effect occurs with a daily intake of 12g of chicory inulin.
