The medicinal product Motherwort plant from Flos is a sedative traditionally used in mild heart conditions of nervous origin, e.g. in case of a feeling of heart palpitations. The traditional herbal medicine is administered orally in the form of a decoction of the mother plant (from Latin: Leonuri cardiacae herba), for specific indications resulting only from its long-term use, intended for adults and the elderly.
The medicinal raw material of Motherwort is its plant. A polythene-lined paper bag contains 50 g of crushed and dried plant.
