When is the test performed?
Any urine sample is suitable for pregnancy testing, but a sample from the first morning urine is optimal because it has the highest concentration of HCG.
How is the test performed?
1. Open the sealed envelope by tearing along the perforation. Remove the test device from the envelope.
2. Hold the round end of the test with one hand. Use your other hand to remove the cap and expose the absorbent tip.
3. Point the absorbent tip downwards; place the absorbent tip in the urine stream for at least 10 seconds to properly soak. Do not urinate outside the area indicated by the arrow.
4. Alternatively, you can collect the urine in a clean container and soak half of the absorbent pad in the urine for at least 3 seconds.
5. Put the cover back on the device and wait for the color lines to appear. Place or hold your device horizontally while you wait. Positive results can be seen within a minute. However, to confirm negative results, the full reaction time is 3 minutes. Do not read results later than 5 minutes.
How to read the results?
Negative (no load):
A single color line appears in the control area (C). No line appears in the test area (T). This indicates that the presence of pregnancy is not detected.
Positive (pregnancy):
Distinct color lines appear in the control and test areas. This indicates the presence of pregnancy. The color intensity of the test lines may vary from test to test, as the concentration of the HCG hormone differs depending on the stage of pregnancy.
Null:
There is no visible line at all or there is a visible line only in the test area. Repeat the test with a new test kit. If this test also generates an error, please contact a doctor or pharmacist from whom you purchased the product with the relevant batch number.
NOTE: If the colored line in the test area appears very light, it is recommended to repeat the test after 48 hours.
