Description
Flector ® Patch 1% is a medicinal patch with local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It is intended for use on the skin for the symptomatic treatment of pain associated with:
- epicondylitis (so-called tennis elbow) - a condition that often affects people who perform repetitive hand movements, for example athletes or people who work at a computer. The Flexor Patch relieves pain and inflammation resulting from overuse of the muscles and tendons around the elbow.
- ankle sprains - this is also an injury that can easily occur during physical activity. The patch helps relieve pain resulting from ligament damage and associated tissue inflammation. A sprained ankle can lead to swelling, pain and limited joint mobility. Applying the patch directly to the painful area allows effective reduction of pain and inflammation symptoms, which promotes a faster return to full fitness.
The active substance is epolamine, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). They are used to relieve pain and inflammation. Each medicinal patch of 140 cm 2 contains 180 mg diclofenac epolamine, equivalent to 140 mg diclofenac sodium (1%).
Flector ® Patch can be used in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age. The package contains 5 patches with dimensions of 10 cm x 14 cm.
