INDICATIONS

In cats, treatment of mixed infestations with the following species of ascarids and cestodes:

Ascaris: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina

Cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis, Echinococcus multilocularis

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use at the same time as piperazine compounds.

Do not use in chickens younger than 6 weeks of age.

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION Exitel Cat 230/20 mg

Dosage: The recommended dose is 20 mg/kg pyrantel (57.5 mg/kg pyrantel embonate) and 5 mg/kg praziquantel. This is equivalent to 1 tablet/4 kg body weight.

Administration and duration of treatment:

Single oral administration. The tablet is administered directly or can be hidden in food.

In roundworm infestation, especially in kittens, complete elimination is not expected, and therefore there is a risk of infestation for humans.

Therefore, repeat treatment should be carried out with a product suitable for intestinal worms, at an interval of 14 days, until 2-3 weeks after weaning.
