Niaouli essential oil (M - 1159), 10 ml, Mayam

It is appreciated for its strong antiviral and bactericidal action, strengthens the immune system, is a decongestant, stimulant and venous tonic, beneficial in case of heavy legs or varicose veins. For the skin, it is useful in case of acne, wounds, boils or eczema.
The essential oil obtained by distilling the leaves and young branches of the Niaouli tree, originally from New Caledonia, has virtues recognized and appreciated for a long time. It is a natural antiseptic also found in numerous pharmaceutical preparations, acting as a strong antibacterial and antiviral agent. It is usually better tolerated by the skin compared to other antiseptic essential oils.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation from leaves and young branches.

Characteristics:
Clear yellow-green liquid, low viscosity.

Olfactory description:
Intense fresh smell, aromatic and slightly camphorous.

Properties:

• strong antibacterial, anti-infectious, antifungal, antiviral;
• expectorant, anticatarrhal useful in rhinitis, bronchitis and other respiratory problems;
• venous and lymphatic decongestant, blood circulation stimulator;
• analgesic, useful for arthritis, rheumatic pains, muscle pains;
• stimulator for the immune and nervous system, energizing;
• purifying, anti-infective and skin tonic.

Way of ussage:

• it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations and compositions for aromatherapy;
• usual dosage recommended in cosmetic compositions 0.5 - 2%;
• as an ingredient for the preparation of creams, balms and ointments, for various skin problems: acne, mycosis, herpes, eczema, small wounds and cuts, insect bites;
• as an ingredient for the preparation of creams and balms applied in case of varicose veins, venous and lymphatic stasis, heavy legs;
• as an ingredient for the preparation of body hygiene and oral hygiene compositions (gargles, mouthwash, toothpaste);
• as an ingredient for cleansers, lotions and creams dedicated to oily, acne-prone skin;
• included in a cream base or in vegetable oil, applied by friction on the chest in case of respiratory tract problems, colds, flu, viruses;
• diluted in vegetable oil, applied by massage on areas with rheumatic, muscle or joint pain;
• a few drops in hot water or herbal infusion, by inhalation, as an adjuvant in respiratory infections, bronchitis, sinusitis, coughs, colds;
• a few drops in a sitz bath as an adjuvant in gynecological infections;
• in a vaporizer or sprayed in rooms to purify the air, stimulate the ability to concentrate, reduce fatigue.
