Eucalyptus essential oil is recognized for its positive action on the respiratory system. It is antimicrobial, expectorant and tonic. It deodorizes and purifies the air in the rooms, freshens the bedding.
The oil distilled from eucalyptus leaves is recognized and widely used for the treatment of respiratory ailments, being a common ingredient in many pharmaceutical products. Along with the positive action on the respiratory system, eucalyptus oil is also used in oral hygiene or as an environmental purifier.

Method of obtaining:
By steam distillation from leaves and young branches.

Characteristics:
Clear yellowish liquid, low viscosity.

Olfactory description:
Strong, fresh, slightly camphorous, medicinal smell. -

Properties:
- antimicrobial, antibacterial;
- expectorant, mucolytic;
- nasal decongestant;
- antiseptic, antiviral, purifying;
- antifungal, antiparasitic, antiputrescent;
- refreshing, refreshing;

Way of ussage:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations and compositions for aromatherapy;
- 3-5 drops diluted in 10 ml of vegetable oil for rubbing on the chest area or solar plexus, in respiratory problems;
- as an ingredient in massage oils, gels or creams, in a percentage of 1-2%;
- a few drops in a bowl of warm water or herbal infusion, for inhalation, once or twice a day for 3-5 minutes;
- a few drops added to the vaporizer for diffusion in the rooms, for 10-15 minutes, once or several times a day;
- for refreshing textiles: mix 2 ml of essential oil with 40 ml of alcohol (vodka), add to 58 ml of water; the solution is put in a spray bottle;
- 2-3 drops on a wet cloth to sanitize washable surfaces.
