• Fir essential oil is a very pleasant, positive and invigorating oil, with a wide range of applications that include the support of the respiratory and nervous system, freshening the air, improving osteo-articular problems.
• Extracted from the branches of a species of fir native to Canada, balsamic fir essential oil is highly appreciated due to its pleasant, fresh fragrance, which smells like the Christmas tree. Along with the olfactory benefits, this essential oil is also used for the relief of respiratory diseases, the alleviation of rheumatic pains, cramps and muscle contractions, as well as in the form of aromatherapy as a stimulant, tonic and positive.

By steam distillation - from branches.

Olfactory description:
Balsamic smell, sweet, fresh.

Properties:
- rubefiant, heating;
- tonic and general stimulant;
- respiratory antiseptic;
- slightly anti-inflammatory and analgesic;
- pleasant perfume.

Recommendations:
- refreshing and perfuming the air, creating a pleasant atmosphere;
- the creation of room fresheners and scented candles, especially on the occasion of the winter holidays;
- perfuming some cosmetic compositions and bath salts;
- adjuvant in bronchitis, colds, rhinitis, sinusitis;
- support of the muscular and osteo-articular system.

Way of ussage:
- it is a product that is not used as such on the skin, only as an ingredient in cosmetic preparations, perfumes and compositions for aromatherapy;
- usual dosage recommended in cosmetic compositions 0.5-2% and for local applications, perfumery, bath salts or candles, dosage up to 10%;
- diluted in vegetable oil, in the form of a massage to warm up the muscles before exercise;
- diluted in vegetable oil or as an ingredient for creams, balms or gels with osteo-articular applications;
- as an ingredient for the preparation of bath salts, simple or combined with other essences;
- combined with orange and/or cinnamon essential oil for Christmas candles, air fresheners or room diffusion;
- as a perfume essence for perfumes and toilet products;
- diffused in the air alone or combined with other essences, as a support for respiratory problems and to create an optimistic atmosphere.
