Properties:
It supports intestinal motility, contributes to the reduction of stool consistency and the smooth functioning of the intestine
Ingredients:
The bark of the shrub Rhamnus frangula L., fam. Rhamnaceae, containing anthraquinones, glycosides, dianthrones, flavonoids, tannin.
Actions:
Laxative-purgative, choleretic-cholagogue (stimulates the secretion and elimination of bile).
Main uses:
Acute and chronic constipation.
Other uses:
Obesity, biliary dyskinesia.
Contraindications:
Do not administer during pregnancy and breastfeeding, intestinal obstructions and inflammations, in children under 12 years of age and in case of hypersensitivity to this plant.
Cautions:
In case of overdose, it can cause gastrointestinal spasms and vomiting.
Method of preparation:
Boil a teaspoon of the plant in 200 ml of water for 5-10 minutes, then strain.
Way of ussage:
- Drink one cup of tea a day, in the evening before going to bed.
- The effect appears 8-12 hours after administration.
- The duration of a course is 2 weeks.
- The treatment can be repeated after a break of 2 weeks.
