Description
Colloidal silver as medicine. K. Warner H. Walter
Colloidal silver and its properties.
The bactericidal properties of silver have been known since ancient times. Storing liquids in silver vessels or dropping a silver coin into milk or water prolonged their freshness. The practice of holding a silver spoon in the mouth to combat cold sores and pustules is still used today.
Silver and its particular form, colloidal silver, gained importance in medicine in the last quarter of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, and were only later replaced by antibiotics and corticosteroids. Given the growing criticism of the side effects of both groups of substances, silver has a chance to regain its rightful place in medical theory and practice.
What are colloidal silver?
Colloidal silver is electrically charged silver particles suspended in water. This collision is a suspension of demineralized water, subjected to steam distillation, and pure metallic silver, obtained by electrolytic precipitation. A voltage is applied to two silver electrodes immersed in water, which causes the release of silver particles and ions.
The silver particles are electrically positively charged and repel each other in the water, remaining suspended and maintaining equal distances from each other. This repulsion is visible under the microscope as Brownian motion. The concentration of silver varies from 3 to 50 ppm (parts per million), which means that 1 liter of water contains 3-50 milligrams of silver.
By grinding it into microscopic particles, the total surface area of the substance increases many times, thus strengthening its effect. Moreover, colloidal silver in this form penetrates the body much more easily and can reach even very distant places.
In the past, pure silver colloids were obtained by grinding in a mortar. Currently, colloidal silver is obtained by electrolysis using heated water subjected to reverse osmosis or steam distillation.
The book "Colloidal silver as medicine. A healthy antibiotic"
contains information on the latest research on medicinal properties, as well as a description of 80 diseases and methods of treatment with colloidal silver. There you will also find information about its production, storage and durability.
“Colloidal silver can be used with other medications and does not cause stomach problems, but actually supports digestion. Medical press articles and documented studies over the past hundred years report no side effects of oral colloidal silver use in humans or animals. They have been used with excellent results in very acute disease states. It's time to recognize colloidal silver as not only a safe but effective treatment method.
