The medicine contains three active ingredients:

• paracetamol, an analgesic that also reduces body temperature in case of fever,
• phenylephrine chloride, a decongestant (substance that reduces blood flow to the nasal mucosa) from the sympathomimetics group, which relieves stuffy nose and sinuses and thus helps to facilitate breathing,
• ascorbic acid (vitamin C), a common ingredient in cold and flu medicines, is included in the medicine to help replace vitamin C, which can be deficient in the early stages of flu and colds.

The medicine provides quick relief from flu and cold symptoms, including fever, chills, stuffy nose, headache, muscle and joint pain, sore throat, sinusitis and related pain.

Mode of use

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a cup of hot water (about 125ml). Mix well until dissolved. Add cold water and sugar or honey to taste. The child is offered a warm drink. It is necessary to observe the minimum intervals between individual doses (listed in the section Dosage and dosing schedules). The medicine is taken independently of food.

Warning

The medicine should not be administered to children under 6 years of age. The medicine should not be used during pregnancy. The drug is not recommended for lactating women (if it is necessary for a lactating woman to use the drug, she should use it only after consulting the doctor, only for a short time and breast-feed for at least 3 hours after administration). The medicine should not be used by patients with high blood pressure or with diseases of the heart or blood vessels. Alcoholic beverages should not be consumed during treatment. Do not take other flu and cold medicines or medicines to reduce the swelling of the nasal mucosa (decongestants) and especially other medicines containing paracetamol at the same time as this medicine. The drug may cause dizziness in some patients. The medicine contains sucrose (1862 mg in one bag). The medicine contains 56.43 mg of sodium in one bag.
