Chlorhexidine shampoo for dogs, cats and horses, 250 ml, Alavis

Properties:
- is dedicated to the external care of the fur and skin of animals (dogs, cats, horses, ferrets);

- the chlorhexidine in the shampoo maintains its effect on the skin for a long time, it is also useful for sanitizing and cleaning the paws before letting children touch the animals or before letting them climb into bed;
- due to its antiseptic properties, chlorhexidine is a substance widely used in both humans and animals;
- the mechanism of action consists in disrupting the cell membrane of pathogens;
- use in the form of shampoo thus combines mechanical (washing) and antiseptic effects;
Actions:
- in the treatment of superficial and deep inflammations of the skin (of fungal or bacterial origin);
- as skin and fur maintenance care after the treatment of animals with dermatological predispositions, with chronic inflammation of the skin or allergic skin diseases;
- helps reduce the risk of developing secondary skin infections;
- in animals affected by parasites (for example: scabies, fleas, etc.);
- for cleaning physically or chemically irritated skin (e.g., around the anus during diarrhea, skin folds, when the skin is contaminated with excrement or polluted water);
- reduces itching and irritation.

How to use:
Wet the fur with warm water and apply a small amount of shampoo until a rich foam forms. Let the shampoo work for 5 minutes! Then rinse the foam well. Protect the eyes, ears and breasts of the animal during bathing. Rinse carefully. Repeat if necessary. The shampoo is not irritating to the eyes and ears, but avoid contact with them. In case of significant skin problems, apply ALAVIS™ Chlorhexidine Shampoo daily or according to the recommendations of the veterinarian. After the condition has improved, extend the intervals depending on the condition of the fur and skin.
