Description
Buscopan 10 mg is an antispasmodic medication for pain associated with stomach cramps, intestinal, biliary or renal colic and dysmenorrhea. It can be used in adults and on the express recommendation of the doctor in children over 6 years of age.
How does Buscopan 10 mg work?
Buscopan works by reducing the smooth muscle contractions of the internal abdominal organs, including the digestive tract, biliary tract, urinary tract and female reproductive tract. The drug relieves the increasing and/or decreasing colic pain that occurs in the abdominal cavity, the exact location of which is difficult to determine.
Each Buscopan tablet for abdominal cramps contains 10 mg of hyoscine butylbromide ( Hyoscini butylbromidum ).
The product package contains 20 film-coated tablets.
