Dosage and dosage regimens

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended dose is:

• Adults and adolescents over 14 years: 23-46 drops 3 times a day (equivalent to 24-48 mg bromhexine hydrochloride).
• Children aged 12 to 14 years and patients weighing up to 50 kg: 23 drops (equivalent to 24 mg bromhexine hydrochloride) 3 times a day.

The duration of use of the drug is determined individually depending on the indication and the course of the disease.

Without the doctor's recommendation, the drug should not be taken for more than 4-5 days.

Increased caution is required in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, and therefore it is advisable to administer this medicine at longer intervals or in a reduced dose.

Mode of use

The medicine is taken shortly after a meal.

• Pregnant women should consult a doctor when using the drug.
• Breastfeeding women should not take the medicine.
• Children under 12 cannot take the medicine.
• Since the medicine contains alcohol, it can affect attention. Time intervals between individual doses must be observed.
• Alcohol dependent patients should not take the drug.
• Adequate fluid intake is recommended.
