BioGaia - a mixture for the preparation of an oral rehydration solution with zinc - for the treatment of diarrhea. The Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis content in BioGaia Oral Rehydration Solution supports the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract and helps maintain a healthy bacterial balance during acute diarrhea. Recommended by WHO and UNICEF in oral rehydration in children using zinc, therefore our oral rehydration solution also contains mineral salts and essential zinc.

Contents of 1 bag:

at least 1 billion (10^9) live active cells of Lactobacillus reuteriProtectis

Excipients:

glucose, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, zinc sulfate

Preparation:

Pour the contents of the bag into 250 ml of water. Important Note: If you are unsure of the water quality, boil the water or use bottled water. Allow the boiled water to cool before adding the BioGaia ProTectis mixture. After mixing, the oral rehydration solution should be used within six hours if the solution has been stored in a refrigerator and within three hours if it has been stored at room temperature (max 25°C). This product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount. Tip: Add a spoonful of apple juice or serve with a straw!

Important Always respect the specified amounts. If the oral rehydration solution is not mixed with enough water, too much salt enters the body, which can be dangerous.
