It is indicated in cases of intense dryness which can be induced by menopause, by the use of certain drugs or when ocular discomfort is permanent (in particular for contact lens wearers and/or for those who work at a video terminal).

Thanks to its high viscosity,:

Hyaluronic acid is able to retain a large volume of water and release it very gradually to keep the ocular surface well hydrated.
Blinking helps hyaluronic acid spread and lubricate the ocular surface.
