BABYBIO GOAT 1
CAPREA 1 is a dry organic goat's milk, full of fat, produced in France. The milk from which it is produced comes exclusively from organic goats . In accordance with the principles of organic farming, the goats are mainly fed with organic food or fodder . They behave with regard to their welfare in accordance with the legal regulations on organic farming. Antibiotics, which are prohibited by organic farming, are also not applied as a preventive measure. It is a preferred method of production, e.g. the use of natural fertilizers and crop rotation .
In accordance with European legislation, Babybio CAPREA 1 contains
- PCL long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids from the Omega 3 group (DHA)
- The polyunsaturated fatty acids contained come from fish that are caught exclusively according to the rules of sustainable fishing
- The ratio of whey protein to casein is 60%/40%
- Packaged in a protective atmosphere
Where does the milk for the Caprea range come from?
The milk for the production of our CAPREA infant milk range, i.e. CAPREA 1 starter milk, CAPREA 2 follow-on milk and CAPREA 3 toddler milk, comes from the best organic goat farms in the Netherlands.
Why from the Netherlands? Because the climate, soil and vegetation in this country are ideal for raising goats. Thanks to this fact, we obtain unique and pure ecological goat milk as the basic raw material for the production of the CAPREA line. In addition, goat milk suppliers in the Netherlands must meet stricter criteria than EU law.
Why is goat's milk better for baby's digestion than cow's milk?
Milk fat:
- The size and structure of the fat molecules in goat's milk are more similar to breast milk
- Compared to cow's milk, the fat molecules in goat's milk are smaller (similar to breast milk)
Milk proteins:
- Some children may have a reduced tolerance or a direct allergy to so-called "cow proteins"
- Milk proteins are composed of caseins. One of them, namely alpha S1 casein , is why children (and adults) with more sensitive digestion can have problems after consuming cow's milk or cow's milk products.
- Cow's milk contains a higher proportion of alpha S1 casein
- Goat's milk contains a minimum of alpha S1 casein , but provides a higher proportion of alpha S2 casein , which generally does not cause digestive problems.
This is a product of organic farming. Contains no palm oil, no added sugar, no GMOs. It provides a balanced ratio of proteins, essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals important for the correct development of the child.
