Target species: Dogs (from 4 kg to 10 kg)
Treatment and prevention of flea infestation (Ctenocephalides felis) The drug can be used as part of the therapy of flea-induced allergic dermatitis (FAD).
Each 1 ml pipette contains: Active substance: Permethrin 500 mg Imidaclopridum 100 mg
Excipients: butylhydroxytoluene (E321) 1 mg
Mode of use
Route of administration and dose: Drops on the skin. Apply only to undamaged skin.
The minimum recommended dose is: 10 mg/kg live weight (g) of imidacloprid and 50 mg/kg live weight (g) of permethrin.
Mode of administration:
Remove a pipette from the packaging. Hold the pipette applicator upright. Touch the narrow part of the pipette to make sure the contents are in the main part of the pipette, twist and pull the cap. Turn the cap over and place the opposite end on the pipette. Push and twist the cap to break the seal and pull the cap off the pipette again.
For dogs weighing more than 10 kg: For a standing dog, apply the entire contents of the pipette evenly in four places on the back, from the shoulders to the root of the tail. With each drop, stretch the fur so that the skin is visible. Place the mouth of the pipette directly on the skin and gently squeeze some of the solution onto its surface. Do not apply too much solution in one place so that it does not run down the sides of the dog.
The drug is intended for application to the skin of dogs, then the solution is quickly distributed over the entire surface of the dog's body. Both active substances remain detectable on the skin and fur of treated animals for 4 weeks. Systemic absorption of the drug is sufficiently low and does not affect efficacy or tolerance in the target species.
Attention: Due to the lack of available information, the medicine should not be applied to puppies less than 7 weeks old or to dogs weighing less than 1.5 kg. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to some auxiliary substances.
Not applicable to cats. This drug is extremely poisonous to cats and can be fatal to them due to the unique physiology of cats, which are unable to metabolize certain substances, including permethrin. To prevent accidental contact with cats, keep treated dogs away from cats until the application site is dry. It is important to ensure that cats do not lick the application site on the treated dog. In such cases, consult a veterinarian immediately.
The application of this medicine to sick and weakened dogs should be consulted with a veterinarian.
