Food supplement, recommended as a metabolic antioxidant with a role in maintaining the optimal functioning of the nervous system, brain activity and the cardiovascular system.
Alpha lipoic acid (thioctic acid) is a substance found naturally in the body, being involved in the energetic metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, having a strong antioxidant action.
Alpha lipoic acid helps to protect the body's cells and tissues from the attack of free radicals, to improve endothelial function and blood flow at cerebral, cardiac and peripheral levels. Alpha lipoic acid contributes to maintaining normal body weight, normalizes the level of oxygen use in the muscles and maintains a high general tone. It has an essential role in the biochemical processes of energy production in the mitochondria, increasing the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate).
Does not contain lactose, gluten, soy, magnesium stearate, artificial sweeteners or chemical additives!

Ingredients/capsule:
Rice flour (natural bulking agent); alpha lipoic acid (thioctic acid) 250 mg; gelatin capsules.

Administration method:
Maintenance treatment: 1 capsule per day, preferably during the meal. Intensive treatment: 2 capsules per day or according to the doctor's recommendation. Unlike other antioxidants, which are soluble only in water (such as vitamin C) or only in fats (such as vitamin E), alpha lipoic acid is soluble in both water and fats, a property that determines its increasing the antioxidant capacity.

Precautions and contraindications:
It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of association with hypoglycemic medication (including insulin) or chemotherapy. Administer with caution to pregnant or lactating women, people taking antidepressants or suffering from liver diseases or phenylketonuria.
