The preparation is intended for dogs weighing between 10 and 25 kg.

It is intended for the treatment and prevention of flea infestation (C.felis, C.canis) and for the treatment of ferret infestation (Trichodectes canis). Fleas on dogs die within a day of application. One treatment protects against further flea infestation for 4 weeks.

The drug can be used as part of the therapy of flea-induced allergic dermatitis (FAD). The drug has a persistent acaricidal and repellent effect against tick infestation (Rhipicepalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus for 4 weeks and Dermacentor reticulatus for 3 weeks).

Ticks present on the dog at the time of application cannot be killed for 2 days after treatment and may remain attached and visible. Therefore, it is recommended to remove ticks present on the dog at the time of application to prevent them from attaching and sucking blood.

A single application provides a repellent (anti-feeding) effect:

• against bedbugs (Phlebotomus papatasi for 2 weeks and Phlebotomus pernicios for 3 weeks),
• against mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti for 2 weeks and Culex pipiens for 4 weeks) and
• against biting flies (Stomoxys calcitrans for 4 weeks).

Suitable for puppies from 7 weeks and from 1.5 kg live weight.

Mode of use

On a standing dog, evenly apply the entire contents of Advantix to four points on the back, from the shoulders to the base of the tail. With each drop, stretch the fur so that the skin is visible. Place the mouth of the pipette directly on the skin and gently squeeze some of the solution onto its surface.
