The appearance of a skin rash after the application of Volini requires the immediate interruption of the treatment.
In the case of long-term use, it is recommended that the people applying the gel wear gloves.
Caution is necessary in patients with atopic conditions (bronchial asthma, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, history of hypersensitivity to other drugs, etc.).
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations before taking this medicine.
In humans, no teratogenic effect of diclofenac has been reported, but to confirm the absence of the risk of using Volini during pregnancy, additional epidemiological studies are needed. As a result, the drug is administered in the first 2 trimesters of pregnancy only if absolutely necessary, after evaluating the maternal benefit/potential fetal risk ratio; starting from the 3rd trimester, its use is contraindicated, due to the risk of fetal cardiopulmonary toxicity (pulmonary hypertension, with premature closure of the arterial channel) and renal (renal function disorders up to renal failure and oligoamnios) or the risk of prolonging the bleeding time, at the end of pregnancy.
In the case of other routes of administration, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are excreted in breast milk. By extrapolation and as a precautionary measure, it is recommended to avoid the use of Volini in breastfeeding women.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
It does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
The recommended dose of Volini is 2-3 applications per day, on the affected area.
In order to achieve skin absorption of the gel, a light and prolonged massage is performed on the painful and/or inflamed area.
After each use, wash your hands carefully.
If after 7 days of treatment you do not notice an improvement in the symptoms or they worsen, you must see a doctor who will reevaluate the treatment.
The active substance is diclofenac sodium.
Each gram of gel contains 50 mg diclofenac sodium.
The other components are: hydroxyethyl cellulose, L-menthol, propylene glycol, ethyl alcohol 96%, diethylene glycol monoethyl ether, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E218), n-propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E216), polysorbate 80, purified water.
