Description
It is based on an innovative combination of ingredients, including Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose (cross-linked CMC), and Poloxamer 407. Cross-linked CMC forms a protective layer on the surface of the eye, providing relief and comfort to dry eye patients. In turn, CoQ10 has been shown to protect the eye and promote healing of corneal injuries caused by dry eye syndrome or eye surgery.
Poloxamer 407 is an excellent thermogelling agent, allowing the solution to be administered as eye drops. Once it comes into contact with the ocular surface, it transforms into a gel. This allows patients using VisuXL Gel to experience the comfort of a gel with the convenience of a drop. VisuXL Gel is preservative-free, contact lens compatible and can be administered every 12 hours with 2 drops per day. It is indicated for both daytime and nighttime use.
